BENEFIT DINNER 2019
This year's benefit dinner was a great success!
We hope everyone had a great time this year at our annual benefit dinner. The team had lots of fun talking with everyone over cold brews and warm food! Congrats to everyone who got to go home with silent auction items. We were able to raise over $3800 that will go to project materials and construction in Nicaragua and Uganda.
Check out our latest projects in Mines Without Borders. Our vision is a world in which the communities we serve have the capacity to sustainably meet their basic human needs. All projects are designed by students at Colorado School of Mines with help from project mentors and the community. Head over to the project specific pages in the header for details.
Water Well & Distribution Systems
We are working with the community of Los Gomez, Nicaragua to improve local access to clean water. Mines students are working with the community to drill a well and build a new distribution system that will ensure year-round access to clean water.
Solar Street Lights
The community of Bumwalukani is working with us to implement solar street lights in their marketplace. There is currently no lighting system, so it becomes unsafe at night which drives business away. Implementing solar street lights will improve the economy and safety of the community in a sustainable way.
